I have long considered this book to be one of my best works. Originally released in 1995 it went out for print- much to my dismay. Now, my publisher, Avery, has decided to put a snazzyer cover on it and re-release it! I am indeed delighted. It has some of my favorite stories in it, such as, "Rudder at the End of the Road" "Whalebacks and Robber-Barons" "Captain Oliver's Extended Season" "Harbor Master Wagstaff's Vindication" and "What a Scoop!" In all there are a baker's dozen stories plus photos and maps in this 214 page book of true Great Lakes shipwreck tales. NOTHING is made up, this is real history as it happened.
